Addition for Accessibility

The goal of this addition and renovation was for the homeowner to be able to age in place.  

 

We added a 1st floor family room behind the garage which can be easily converted to a bedroom in the future.  The kitchen was enlarged to add a large bar with seating.  A side ramp to the deck is planned for future access to the new back deck.  

 

The 1st floor bathroom renovation includes a large walk-in shower with flush sill and wide doorways accessible for all ability levels.  The homeowner wanted a large front portico addition for deliveries and storage closets for guests.
